Trained in the European tradition, Barry hand builds custom furniture and other items for clients across North America and around the world.  Kari-Lynn assists with the finishing of many of the pieces and also takes care of the paperwork.

We pride ourselves in the unique pieces that we build and also in the fact that we use only quality hardwoods in their construction.  The wood we use is carefully selected for color and grain. We work as much as possible with hand tools, and because of this we can utilize the beautifully grained timber and burls that machines are unable to deal with.

We have been fortunate to have been selected by a number of clients who demand high quality furnishings and who have given us the opportunity to build their future family heirlooms.  Let us work with you in designing and building such treasured items for you and your future generations.

NEWS

In 2003 I was commissioned by the fine magazine Popular Woodworking to write an article on building a chessboard, like the one pictured on my site.  It was in the December edition and also on their website.  Take a look, under 'what's new' in the menu. I think it turned out OK. 

  I have recently completed another for them on building a plant stand.  Look for it in the Aprill 2005 edition.
